Vantan Future
Creation, during its 8-years history, has trained many professionals
in various areas of food business including dessert-making(patisserie),
baking(boulangerie), catering and cafe management. Vantan Future
Creation is one of the group companies of Vantan, well known
for training professionals in such creative areas as fashion
design, animation, photography, and makeup art.
Vantan Future Creation runs two schools; L'ECOLE VANTAN and LEÇON
DE SURPRISE.. At these schools, students learn not only the
artisanal techniques necessary but are also trained to become
leaders in the promotion of better lifestyles. These students,
after graduation, go on to careers where they can take the
latest trends in culinary cultures of the world and blend
them into
our tradition, creating richer and fuller lifestyles.
This type of education is all the more important today because
people focus on food not just as a source of nourishment but
as an important component of a quality lifestyle. Today's culinary
experts must have a broader, global perspective on food which
encompasses health, safety, and beauty. These are in fact the
things that determine the quality of life.
In addition to the two schools, we opened Food Design Institute
on July 1st for research purposes. We have been engaging in
lifestyle research relating to food and product development
with outside partners and experts in the industry for some time.
These efforts now will continue at this new institute.
I hope that this institute, together with our schools, will
be instrumental in realizing our vision, which is a richer lifestyle
for everyone with the culinary culture at its core.
